‘Encanto’: In This House, We Make Magic

He has a successful career within the musical and interpretive field in Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, and other Latin American countries. Adassa is an American Urban Reggaetón singer-songwriter also known as the 'Reggaetón Princess'. Adassa was born in Miami, Florida and raised in St. Croix, Virgin Islands by her Afro-Colombian parents. Rhenzy Feliz is an American actor best known for playing the role of Alex Wilder in the Hulu original series Marvel's Runaways and Camilo Madrigal in Disney's Encanto. Diane Guerrero is an American actress, singer, model, philanthropist and author. She is known for her roles as inmate Maritza Ramos on the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black and Lina on Jane the Virgin. Guerrero grew up in Boston and remained there after the rest of her family was deported to Colombia. She is an advocate for immigration reform. Her role on Orange Is the New Black has contributed to three consecutive wins for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. Guerrero is the author of In the Country We Love: My Family Divided, a memoir about her parents being detained and deported when she was fourteen. She currently stars as Jane in the HBO Max action-drama series Doom Patrol. Stephanie Beatriz Bischoff Alvizuri is an Argentinean-American actress and model. She played Detective Rosa Diaz in the NBC comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Jessica in the independent drama Short Term 12 (2013). Beatriz voiced the protagonist, Mirabel Madrigal, in Encanto.

The 60th film produced by the studio, it was directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard, co-directed by writer Charise Castro Smith who co-wrote the screenplay with Bush, and produced by Yvett Merino and Clark Spencer, with original songs written by Lin-Manuel Miranda. The film stars the voices of Stephanie Beatriz, María Cecilia Botero, John Leguizamo, Mauro Castillo, Jessica Darrow, Angie Cepeda, Carolina Gaitán, Diane Guerrero, and Wilmer Valderrama. In this film, Mirabel Madrigal, an family of Madrigal who does not have magical powers, must find out what is happening to save both her family and her home, after the magic is in danger.
